Coltart Contracts carried out improvement works at Hillend Reservoir for Scottish Canals under their framework agreement. The project involved constructing a new stone wall, sealing concrete joints and reinstating surrounding ground. Working within a sensitive reservoir environment, the team delivered the works efficiently while maintaining safe access and protecting the surrounding landscape.
Our team undertook careful excavation and foundation works before manually constructing the sandstone wall using selected materials delivered to site. Sealant was applied to existing concrete structures and surrounding areas were reinstated with topsoil preparation and grass seeding. Additional vegetation clearance along the access track was completed to improve safe access.
